Hot Stone massage

"The Art of Thermal Therapy for Deep Muscle Release"
Hot Stone Massage utilizes basalt volcanic stones, known for their excellent heat retention. The stones are heated to an optimal temperature (around 45-50°C) and placed on specific points on the body to open pores and relax muscle lines. The therapist also uses stones coated in massage oil to glide along muscle groups. The heat from the stones penetrates deeply, helping tense muscles relax much faster than manual massage alone.
The Advantages (Pros)
  • Deep and Fast Muscle Relaxation: The heat quickly softens stiff muscles and fascia, allowing the therapist to address deep tissue issues with less pain for the client compared to regular acupressure.
  • Excellent Circulation Boost: Heat causes blood vessels to expand (vasodilation), significantly improving blood flow and delivering oxygen to repair worn-out tissues.
  • Ultimate Stress Relief: The comforting warmth of the stones against the skin provides a sense of safety and security, helping to reduce anxiety and promote better sleep.
  • Chronic Pain Relief: Suitable for individuals suffering from chronic back pain, shoulder pain, or arthritis (during non-inflamed stages).
The Disadvantages (Cons)
  • Temperature Risk: If the stone temperature is not managed well, or if a client has very sensitive skin, it might feel too hot or cause redness (however, our therapists are experts at monitoring this closely).
  • Not for Heat-Sensitive People: Individuals who dislike hot weather or feel easily uncomfortable when overheated may not enjoy this massage.
  • Interrupted Flow: The massage flow might be slightly interrupted occasionally when cooled stones need to be swapped for fresh hot ones.
